final big board
🐅The good: He’s got everything you want in a potential franchise savior… arm talent, pocket awareness, accuracy even under duress, mobility, experience, leadership.
🦨The bad: He made some strange decisions on a couple big stages, and has a tendency to get a little lazy mechanically in chaotic situations, but that’s really nitpicking.
🐆The fits: He’s going to Jacksonville. Lock it in. Chris Simms doesn’t run a team.
🌰The good: He’s a wildly unique athlete for the position with a cannon arm and well-directed mobility that he uses to extend plays. Has shown up in big spots
🦨The bad: The mechanical issues are probably overblown, but he gets sloppy at times. Tries to do too much and forces throws that won’t work at NFL level.
🌉The fits: Other than Jacksonville, you name it. Any QB needy team would be lucky.
🐯The good: He’s clever enough to beat press without contact, and strong enough to move through it when it’s there. Finds space naturally, catches well in traffic. You name it.
🦨The bad: Some people feel he’s easier to reroute, but I haven’t seen it as much. He didn’t play this year, and benefitted from Justin Jefferson lining up across from him.
🐅The fits: Dolphins, Eagles, Lions all need a true No. 1, but Cincy is the right spot.
🐊The good: He’s uncoverable, even when he’s technically covered. His size, freaky flexibility when he goes up for a ball, and just all around versatility make him unique.
🦨The bad: Umm I don’t know… Maybe he’s not really a true tight end, but that’s 1974 talking. Maybe you don’t think Pitts is a mellifluous last name? Good luck.
🪶The fits: I don’t see him getting past ATL with Arthur Smith liking two TE sets.

🦆The good: An athletic marvel at his size. Turn on the tape, watch him move in space, usually at the expense of smaller players who are supposed to be quicker.
🦨The bad: The Oregon system, with Justin Herbert, didn’t afford a ton of deep pass pro looks that required him to shine on an island. He sat out this year.
🐬The fits: Tua had a 10:0 TD:INT ratio from a clean pocket, so Miami. Or Cincy.
🐘The good: He’s addicted to separation. No matter the route, he finds a way to create space between himself and the defender. Excellent hands and RAC.
🦨The bad: He weighs 170lbs. The Slim Reaper is an accurate nickname. It doesn’t show up often on film, but hard not to think big NFL corners could take advantage.
🇺🇸The fits: Pretty scheme diverse. The darkhorse could be the Patriots.

😼The good: Did you see that clip of him owning Chase Young yet? He’s strong, plays with balance and keeps defenders off his body, while staying based in pass pro.
🦨The bad: His arms are shorter than you’d like in an ideal world, and he’s not going to light the world on fire athletically. Some will view him as RT/IOL only.
⚡️The fits: If Miami had stayed at 12… NYG could use him. Chargers, too.

😼The good: Lockdown guy who didn’t always show up on film because people simply didn’t throw his way. Sticky, technician, who has great straight line speed and length.
🦨The bad: Not the most fluid guy in the world when turning and opening his hips. Tiny, quick, slot types can create some separation. Outside only guy, IMO.
🗡The fits: I have him higher than most, but GB, NO, ARZ, TEN all make sense.
🐘The good: He’s very fast. And not just in a straight line, but watch him in space in the middle of the field, and see how wildly he’s able to create seams and be gone.
🦨The bad: That injury didn’t help. He did come back in time to log a few snaps against Ohio State, but another undersized Bama WR will face similar durability questions.
🦁The fits: Detroit. Though the Chargers and Justin Herbert’s big arm would be fun.

🦁The good: He’s an amazing athlete who channels that talent into actually making plays, quickly diagnosing the offensive calls, and exploding through ball carriers.
🦨The bad: I still don’t know what the supposed “off-field issues” are, but some who are more plugged in than me will cite them.
🐴The fits: Denver. That’s one of the best fits in the entire draft.
🐈The good: He’s insanely talented, and his off-script ability is easy to compare to Mahomes. Cannon arm, good mobility, creates off-platform. Winner.
🦨The bad: He played against subpar competition, but with subpar teammates, from that angle. Takes a lot of chances, aims some passes, takes hits.
✈️The fits: He’s going to the Jets, but I wish he was going to SF.

🐓The good: Big, aggressive corner whose size doesn’t limit his stickiness in man against smaller, quicker types. Strong, almost safety mindset at the corner position.
🦨The bad: He will take some big chances, and that leads to some misses. Grabby at times, and almost feels like he’s most comfortable playing with everything in front of him.
⭐️The fits: Dan Quinn would love his versatility in Dallas.

🦴The good: He’s just scratching the surface of his potential, and he’s winning mostly with speed, yet he’s still winning. Drinks all the coffee in Glengarry Glen Ross - is a closer!
🦨The bad: He can be bullied by stronger offensive tackles who get into his frame. Doesn’t use his hands effectively yet if speed doesn’t work initially.
⚡️The fits: The Chargers need help across from Joey Bosa. Giants need him, too.
🥤The good: He’s a running back after the catch, and crisp in his routes before it. Can own the slot, and plays strong for a smaller guy. Contested catches galore. Fast.
🦨The bad: Doesn’t bring a lot of size or length. Limited catch radius, even though he has strong hands. Can get caught alligator arming it if he senses a big hit.
⚜️The fits: He’s a slot guy, No. 2 option, for a team like GB or NO.
🐘The good: He’s a hyper-accurate, soft touch, point guard style player who gets the ball out quick, makes throws in chaos, and is very comfortable in play action.
🦨The bad: He’s not Fields or Lance or even Wilson athletically. He’s not a statue either, but he’s a facilitator, and a damn good one, but you’re not getting a cannon arm.
🌉The fits: I know everyone hates it, but see you in the Bay, Mac.

🐘The good: You got a glimpse of what he can be against Ohio State. Absolute nightmare when he puts it all together and uses his explosiveness. Punch, shed, tackle.
🦨The bad: Pretty stiff when he’s not on. Can get upright and allow blockers under his pads. Seems to be playing his own call at times. Looking for big play over manning gap.
🧀The fits: Maybe this is the year Green Bay gets Kenny Clark a friend.
🐘The good: What can’t he do? Natural pass catcher out of the backfield, can run through you, over you, around you. Excellent contact balance and ball security.
🦨The bad: If you want track speed in a straight line, not your guy. One gear runner, and unless he’s leaping, he’s looking for contact even if it means missing a hole.
🦩The fits: Arizona has to do this. Or Pittsburgh. Both need a Matt Forte.

🍀The good: He’s got the goods to move around in today’s NFL. Speed at LB or safety, he’s not going to get beat by RBs or TEs in coverage. Fast, physical, chaotic.
🦨The bad: When you’re this fast, it’s easy to overrun plays, especially when you’re a tweener who doesn’t look entirely comfortable with all the facets of LB position.
🟡The fits: Saints need speed at LB. WFT needs him there or safety.

6020 • 208 • 4.42
🐘The good: Lots of reps against top competition, and he shined. Big, strong, gets his hands on receivers without lunging and getting out of position. Fluid opening hips.
🦨The bad: Allows some separation on double moves and intricate routes. Can reach and grab when trying to eliminate space at top of routes. Got beat in red zone some.
🦁The fits: Dallas will take him if Detroit doesn’t.

〽️The good: What a mound of clay. 270 with 4.5 speed, incredible strength. Power rusher with explosion and no relent. Can move around up front, versatile.
🦨The bad: Pretty green, and hasn’t needed to develop much variety in pass rush. He’s a bull, and he needs refinement. Athlete at EDGE right now, needs coaching.
🗽The fits: Giants and Chargers could make him first EDGE off board.

🦁The good: Wild athlete. Dude runs a 4.3 at 260lbs. Jumped nearly 40” too. He’s long and has added strength and weight without sacrificing athleticism. Bendy around edge.
🦨The bad: You may have heard, but he had zero sacks. Step late off the snap, let’s offensive tackles negate his athleticism with a head start.
🗽The fits: He could go as high as NYG, or as low as TB.
22. trevon moehrig
s • tcu
6005 • 202 • 4.52
🐸The good: He’s a playmaker who has more in common with JOK than you’d think. Headhunter type who strikes. Highpoints ball, can move all over defense.
🦨The bad: Gets caught looking into front seven for big hit, and loses sense of direction in coverage. He’s aggressive to a fault if you want him to just stay home deep.
🏴☠️The fits: Jacksonville needs safety help, Las Vegas needs playmakers.
🐊The good: He’s like Dante Hall in the open field. Greased pig, and not a slow pig, a wild hog. Slippery, versatile, fast fast fast. Natural pass catcher, too.
🦨The bad: Some durability concerns, and his size won’t help projections there. He’s a make-it-up-as-I-go kind of guy when it comes to routes. Needs polish.
⚜️The fits: I don’t think he’s a No. 1 WR, but a creative coach can use him. TEN, NO?
24. teven jenkins

🤠The good: Violent hands, and a catastrophic punch. Jars defensive linemen off the ball, and finishes with a mean streak. He makes blocking exciting. Athletic.
🦨The bad: His arms are shorts. Doesn’t seem to hurt him much, but it’s a fact. If he misses with Initial strike, can get caught off balance and be easily beaten.
🟣The fits: The Vikings like this kind of guy. Steelers should.

😈The good: Very productive, clean player, who combines natural strength and size with a well-developed repertoire of pass rush moves. Can slide inside, stout against run.
🦨The bad: He’s not gonna wow anyone with his suddenness or athleticism. Gets high and allows blockers into his frame. Not a speedy bender.
🚢The fits: A good 4-3 team with established vets, like Tampa.
26. alijah vera-tucker

🗡The good: Versatility. Many view him as an inside guy, but he played well at left tackle in his only spot. Versatile, strong, has the mettle to play outside.
🦨The bad: Not great length, and many will view him as a guard only. He can get beat around the edge by speed, but it’s coachable.
⚡️The fits: Chargers need him to protect Justin Herbert.
🦬The good: Has a gun, moves very well, comfortable in pro-friendly system, and takes excellent care of the ball. He was a one-man offense, and it was a good offense.
🦨The bad: Played in few games, against low competition, looked awful in his one 2020 start. More potential than polish, unlike Wentz. Wasted effort with sloppy footwork.
🪶The fits: Falcons and Saints could afford to sit him. Niners system fit.

🐘The good: Pretty damn tough, at a spot that requires it. Strong, fast hands, quick from snap into position against immediate threats. Smart, experienced, resilient.
🦨The bad: He gets hurt. He plays through it, but he gets hurt. Gets caught lunging in space, doesn’t look as comfortable at 2nd level as he does on initial pop.
🐬The fits: Dolphins in second round. Packers would love his style.
29. eric stokes

🦴The good: He’s an athlete. Track speed, and a knack for big plays. Seems to be in the right spot at right time. Feisty corner who tangles receivers and is hard to run from.
🦨The bad: He lunges at times and gets off balance looking to get his hands on receivers. He’s not overly strong either, so even his successful contact can be broken.
🗡The fits: He’d look good in TEN, or NO, or GB. Can man the outside.
🚂The good: He’s blazingly fast. Moves like a firefly, hard to catch. Very strong lower body and gets loose in the open field. Excellent athlete.
🦨The bad: Also like a firefly, he’s tiny. 5-7 is a short dude, no matter how high you can jump. Injury history is scary.
🐆The fits: What could Urban Meyer and the Jags do with this guy…
31. jaelan phillips

🌴The good: He’s everything you want on paper. Long, quick, bendy off the edge, closes in a hurry, strong enough to win bull rushes, smart enough not to overly rely on it.
🦨The bad: He was injured a lot. Been a minute, but the history is there. Still relying too much on natural gifts and eschewing queueing up combo moves to win after initial loss.
🗽The fits: Can stand or put hand in dirt for Chargers, Giants, Patriots

♞The good: Absolute definition of a playmaker. Reminds me some of Tyrann Mathieu. Is everywhere all at once. In on the action. Great against TEs in coverage.
🦨The bad: All that interest in the action up front leaves a hole over the top at times. If he misses, he misses big, and that’s dangerous in a free safety. Gets engulfed at LOS.
🐧The fits: He would fit well in Baltimore with his knack for angry plays.
